nuuma’s approach to refined modern kitchen design was recently featured by SA Décor & Design, following the brand’s award-winning installation at Decorex Johannesburg 2026.
Centred around the N30 collection, the installation was awarded Best Overall Stand and presented a considered interpretation of quiet luxury — where architecture, material, light and kitchen design are treated as one complete environment.
Rather than approaching the space as a conventional exhibition stand, nuuma created an immersive interior experience. Sculptural curves, sophisticated material layering, carefully selected stone, satin lacquer cabinetry, textile weave glass and refined metal detailing came together within a deliberately restrained palette.
The Architectural Expression:
The result demonstrated an approach to luxury that moves away from visual excess. Instead, the emphasis falls on proportion, craftsmanship, texture, light and the relationship between the kitchen and the architecture surrounding it.
As highlighted by SA Décor & Design, the Decorex installation offered a clear expression of the nuuma design language — calm, architectural and considered.
